Galaxy S Flashes but will not turn on?

Ok guy so I have a samsung galaxy, not rooted, not hacked or anything...I put it on the charger one day before i went to sleep, and when i awoke the next morning, it was off and not charging, so i thought to turn it on and the camera flashed, but the phone NEVER booted! So i took the battery out for 30 seconds and held the power button down, and it still did the same...if i plug the charger into it WITHOUT a battery, the back of the phone makes a faint buzzing noise, but with the battery in, my phone actually starts to feel kind of warm...is there ANY alternative to fixing this besides taking it to a store?

Finding the short that's making it feel warm. If you can't do that, no.
