Hello everyone! I am new here and please take my apologize if i post in the wrong thread. So If i unlock my phone with Super_One_Click and Galaxy_Unlock apps, will be there any negative result for doing that, more special for the apps itself is it some sort of spyware or will it collect my personal data?

My second question is maybe also ridiculous, but that is my first Android device, so i notice that for every free apps, maybe that is valid for paid as well, apps required different access level of information that is somewhat worrying me.

I will make and example of apps, that request the following info

    Your Location
    Network Communications
    Your Personal Information
    Your accounts
    System tools,
    Contacts list
    Any stored notes

    and so on.

This is only a list of different combination that different apps may want to have an access.

Please answer me for question 1 and question 2.

    Thank you in advance!

    Regards.

P.S. I will try this unlocking method

The first two are pretty safe. They are well known to the community and used by hundreds of users.

As for the requests, yes you are correct. Some apps can be rather fishy in what they want to know about you.

Your Location - a lot of apps request this in order to provide "better" advertisement. But it's difficult to tell if they are also using it for malicious purposes.
Network Communications - If the app has ads, it will need Internet access
Your Personal Information - Not that common as far as I know. Obviously twitter, facebook and email apps will need your information, but games and music apps shouldn't.
Your accounts - Pretty much same as above
System tools - Can't remember what this is.
Contacts list - If an app requests this it should have very good reason as to why it needs your contact. Otherwise it's probably malicious.
Any stored notes - Haven't seen this one before.

Thank you very much! I already unlocked my phone, without a problem!;-)
The app, that required all the contacts, notes, numbers and so on is the keyboard phonetic layout. I thing it is not a big problem, because if thing logically with keyboard keys, we can write on all this place and maybe that is the reason why this app, require access to notes, contacts, and so on.

    Regards.
