Help Galaxy S2 front camera not working

My Samsung Galaxy S2 front has stopped working.It was working fine,but actually I don't when it stopped working.I was using ICS (at that time it was working fine I suppose,I rarely use the front camera) and then I installed JB using Odin.Then again,I installed ICS.
My main camera works fine.Whenever i tap the front camera button,the camera hangs.Then I have to go to home screen and restart the camera.The again the main camera opens but same thing happens with front camera.

Try clearing the Data of the Camera app. Also install a third party camera app and see if the front camera works. If nothing helps, a factory reset should do the trick.

I have the same problem and need help guys I tried everything even the factory reset and still nothing from my camera :/.

Flash a different firmware and see. If that didn't help, its Service Centre time.

I unscrewed the phone to motherboard and unplugged all ports inside cleaned properly, plugged it back in and the camera worked for a 1 day and after, the same thing happened.

Did you installed OS correctly? I think something happen during installation Jelly Bean OS. Try to do factory data reset then check it.

Yeah I think I installed my software wrong with odin and now I cant even root it it keeps on saying fail and camera still not working after factory reset.
