The Galaxy S2 is my first Android device, so I have absolutely no idea how to update this device, it says that "No update found" when I attempt to search through the phone itself for an Update, while through Kies it tells me that "This Phone Cannot be Updated" The phone is factory unlocked and is currently on version 2.3.3, is there a new update available? if so how can I get it? and is it worth the update? Thanks!

Here are the details in my phone. Thank you for your help!

    Model Number: GT-I9100
    Android Version: 2.3.3
    Baseband Version: I9100XXKDH
    Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKDD-CL161513 root@DELL103 #2
    Build number: GINGERBREAD.XWKDD

Wouldnt those answers already tell you that there is no official update yet? :) Although vanilla Android has been updated, it doesnt mean that other phones will get it already. They have to go through manufacturers first. Only the Nexus line would get each and every update.

Oh, alright, I thought there was something wrong with my phone cause I heard other people already updated theirs.. Thank you for clearing it up, sorry for the trouble. By the way, Does this mean anything at all?

I have no clue what it means and thought instead of starting a new thread I'd just ask here. Thanks!
