Alright so I broke my phone by spilling lemonade on it. I could still use the phone it worked perfectly fine after the incident but the battery started to drop really fast and it would no longer charge or hold a charge for long it said battery disconnected and what I was wondering was how would I get all of my pictures and apps off of the old phones sim card? Can I put the sims card in a galaxy s4 mini and it will work. If not how can I get the pictures off I have an app on there that locks private pictures that I would really like back and have no idea how to get them back.

    1. Have you tried the bag of rice trick?
    2. Apps and photos are not stored on the SIM.
    3. You can also put the sdcard in your computer or try to connect phone directly to computer.
    4. Apps are located on a secure partition. You can try some different tools to back them up though.
    5. If you have a Google account, just let the playstore restore your apps.

    Did I miss anything?

What does the sim card do? And so if I want to get my locked pictures back I have to try the sd card? And can I transfer over my galaxy s3 sd card to my galaxy s4 mini and all my pictures and apps will be the same? I really just want my photos back they are in a app I downloaded that you need a password to get into and last time I broke my phone I had no idea how to get those photos backs

Which app did you use to secure these Photos? It would be very useful to know.
A SIM card carries your telephony account information. It is issued from the Carrier.
SD cards are interchangeable. S3 should be fine. Newer devices have an option to convert them to internal storage, which makes the card unusable to other devices. Your best bet, like I mentioned is to use a computer, either by loading card directly or connecting device with usb. The latter does not require you to remove card.

You have to buy one. You should still have internal storage. Which can be accessed with a computer. Or through the phone itself.

That could be a problem. Have you removed the battery and inspected it. Also possibly put the devices in a bag with uncooked rice overnight. Sounds weird but it has worked for me in the past.

Well, if you want to salvage anything you will have to get power to it somehow. I've never seen a "battery disconnected" error before. Seems odd that it is able to give that message with a disconnected battery. Getting to be the busy time here so let's see if someone else can chime on.
