I have a Galaxy S3 on the Verizon network. I have "driving mode" turned on so the phone will tell me when I have a new call or text message and read the message to me. My problem is every time I turn on the screen it will tell me the time and temperature. If I receive a text, it will tell me who texted and start reading the text, but it will also tell me the time and temperature at the same time so I can't understand the text. I had the AccuWeather widget on my home screen so I removed that but that didn't help. When I turn the screen on, I can see the weather and time but after I unlock the screen it's gone, however; it still tells me the time and temperature. Is there ANY way to have the phone talk to me but STOP telling me the time and temp.?
