its torture to get out of a contract with them. and they are absolute crap with service in my area
For people like me who don't like cases, I found this.
Our ultra-clear and ultra-thin screen protector will keep your Galaxy looking new. Doing things that a regular PET film screen protector cannot do, the Spectre resists scratching and keeps your screen free of fingerprints and smudges. Our shatter-proof design keeps both you and your screen safe from cuts and scratches. When suffered major damage, the screen protector will crack and not shatter much like a car's windshield. Spectre applies easily and cleanly leaving no air bubbles. An ultra-hard surface protects your screen from sharp objects and resists scratching from keys and other sharp objects. With a thickness of .4mm and a hardness of 8H, the Spectre is one tough and resilient piece of glass. A special coating keeps contaminants such as fingerprints, oil, and grease extremely minimal and creates an easy to clean surface that can be simply wiped clean in one pass.
So after making some calculations, I will be saving 120 dollars on sprint on a two year contract with two galaxy s3's for me and my gf.
Sprint- 140*24= 3360+50+50=$3460.
Even on Verizon it wouldn't be that much different.
Not that much and for good service and speeds.
Yeah metro you don't have to keep your service but then why pay 500 dollars for a phone? Oh and on contract you can get a discount on another phone.
Just food for thought.
Can anyone give me reasons why being on one of the big four on contract is bad? Never been on one.
I also agree with the other guy guessing with the october 4th release, this seems like a little hint on the contest rule. September 26, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time ("CT") and :hello::ends October 2, :hello:: 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CT.
Sprint has things called surcharges and random fees that make you end up paying more so... plus on metro you don't have to worry about a cancellation fee of 250 or more for a line... . And trust me things happen when you least expect it. Another thing is if you miss a payment it starts to affect your credit. Which of course I'm suffering with ATM since I still owe sprint over 350 bucks for canceling a 2 year contract. And whenever it comes to getting a car or apt. First thing they always mention is "Sprint bill" -___-. So yea. Buy the phone at 500 and I promise in a Years run you'll see yourself paying much less
where are you getting the $140 figure from?
also, getting two lines on the $55 plan saves you $10 as both lines are discounted by $5 on a family plan.
so going by your figures you knock $240(10*24) off for metro and you're now $20 cheaper than sprint and $320 cheaper than verizon.
im still curious as to where the $140 is coming from and what type of plan it is?
Over billing. The end.
I don't know if anyone else know about this but metro is going to be selling the 32GB at $500 and yes it's going to be out on the 4th...if you don't believe...call your local dealer. I already got my cases and screen protector lol
I really, really hope you're right about that. I'll send you a cookie it turns out to be true.
It's 140 for two lines unlimited on sprint and 140 for two lines with 10gb data on Verizon.
And I see.
Didn't know they had surcharges, and thanks.
Lol get ready to send me my cookie then but yea I called my dealer to find out about the GB and they say 32GB and it will be out the 4th .....I'm sure u can call your dealer and find out too
Do you know if they will also be selling the 16 gb one?
Yeah and for what price?
No I don't know about the 16 he just told me the 32GB is going to cost 500
I'm actually on the dot paying $500 for a phone because I pay $35 for my UNLTD 4G bill every month which is half of what people pay on metro for 4G and a third, perhaps fourth of what people pay on other carriers with more decent service in my area. All those savings over the years are definitely going to the GS3
Im a local dealer and I haven't seen anything ...nor am I able to order phones yet. Hopefully this will change
how the do u pay only 35
I was a former dealer lol
must be a promotion going on for sprint and verizon because those plans are much higher than $140.
Since you are a local dealer, you should know if Metro is going to sell the 16GB. Since people are already saying that Metro will sell the 32GB for $500. if that is so, i will be getting a 16GB version, and putting my 16GB SD in it tadaaaaa, money saved!:smokingsomb:
if they're gonna sell the 32GB for $500 it would be fair to assume the 16Gb is gonna go for $450?
Tried calling 5 different metro stores. Only 1 answered and they didn't know anything.
If the release date was on the 4th, wouldnt they have orders in already?
and wassup with hookin it up with that bombass deal
Mmm, I checked online like a few days ago and that's what it said.
