Galaxy S3 won't update :-(

Hi all, I'm new to this forum.
My Galaxy S3 won't update to the new 4.1.2. Other friends of mine have updated their phone but every time I check for software update it says "The latest updates have already been installed".

I then downloaded Kies, plugged the phone in and tried it through that, again, it says I'm on the latest firmware version.: PDA:LI5 / PHONE:LI5 / CSC:LI5 (EVR).

I'm confused to why it thinks I'm running the latest software..

Has anyone else had any issues.

Is your phone acquired from a carrier or network (Sprint, TMobile, etc)? If so, the carrier may not have authorized the update yet for mobile phones under contract for them. You'll have to wait it out.

Ah okay, thanks for the info. I'm with EE which now owns T-Mobile so will have to wait it out.
