Hey everyone, I've always been a fan of brushed aluminum, I recently purchased a brushed aluminum back cover for my GS4 from ebay for about $10 but I've noticed a significant decrease in carrier reception when installed. Has anyone else come across this issue? I really don't like the stock back plate/battery cover, I want to keep the brushed aluminum. Would putting a hole (or a few holes) on the back fix this issue? I already tried drilling a small hole (about an inch to the right of the speaker opening and it didn't do much to solve my reception problems. Any thoughts? Thanks. Ps. I had a hunch in the beginning that it would interfere with the reception but for $10 I thought i'd give it a shot, if anything at least you guys know that it would cause some minor-to-major signal loss (depending on where you're located).
