Issue.

Mine did that for several months until it finally gave up the ghost.

So by '...get it on again' is that a reference that your phone is powering itself off or that it's the screen just isn't coming out of sleep mode?

I have to press the power button to get the screen to open back up.

This still leaves the question of whether you're having a problem waking your S5 up from sleep mode, or are you restarting it.
When you press the Power button, is it booting up (you see the Samsung logo flash on screen as the OS is loading up into memory). Or is it just a matter where the Home button isn't waking your phone up from sleep mode and you need to use the Power button instead?
