Ok, so I got the S8+ Father's Day BOGO Special (Thanks to my beautiful wife) at T-Mobile. I usually buy used or older flagships or budget phones but she was in a giving mood. Who am I to spoil that? lol
Now, one thing I found is that I cannot seem to find how to put the (stock) battery shortcut on my home screen. I always use it because I don't want to have to go to settings. I guess I need to use a third party shortcut app?
I use Gsam in conjunction to my stock battery app. With Nougat, I cannot see what apps are using up my battery. My battery life is great but I always like to keep an eye on apps that use the battery alot. I don't really want to go to ADB to set this up.
I love this phone. So smooth and powerful. Still a few things I need to test like the camera. I really need to take more pictures. Overall, very happy with the phone. Been a long time since I had a flagship phone. I'm keeping it as stock as possible because all the Samsung major apps (dialer, text, contacts, calendar) do what I need/want it to do. Android Pay worked like a charm at Rite Aid.
