Just Samsung hedging their bets in case the Motorola/Google partnership gets too exclusive. Nothing to be concerned about. Even if they really did jump ship, oh well, others will take their place.

I doubt it, and android already is unix based. But android has been out a few years so its more advanced, and it has a large fan base and is open source. since android already has all of this, i really doubt it will be very popular at all, so like the other person said, just a more up to date bada

I think what Samsung is trying to do is to follow Apple's lead and create their own OS and infrastructure around it. Stupid as I do not think there is space for another manufacturer like Apple out there.

Its success would all depend on whether users could install android apps and had access to the Play Store.

Well I just got my S3 4 months ago, so I won't be in the market for a new phone until its time for the S5 or the Note 4.

and despite all those neato specs it will only be able to load a webpage, app, or email half a second faster than the S3.

the screen will be nice though, and maybe they fix some of the quirks the S3 has. seems like they did with the note 2. sammy needs to work on their stock music player and keyboard. both are horrendous.
