Help Gallery problems

Hi guys,i seem to be having probs in my gallery. Any photos that i take do not show up in the gallery. This is a new thing as they did used to. Not sure what has changed but its driving me mad.is anyone else have the same problem or can anyone suggest a fix.thank you

Do you use another cam app? With another pic folder, the gallery needs some time to rescan.

Try another (better) gallery, QuickPic, free in PlayStore
This app hasn't any probs with rescan pic folders.

I am not sure either, but I feel the photo gallery on the S3 is lacking. It automatically creates random folders to which I do not want. I have tried deleting but they come back within a couple of days. Overall it is not very user friendly.

A vote for QuickPic here too! I had issues with the standard gallery app as it showed a very fragmented folder structure and insisted on including something like 1,000 images which were part of a wildlife identification app.

QuickPic goes with the idea of the user defining which directories should be included (and which excluded), and I've found this allows me to have easy, logical access to the images associated with different camera apps etc. It'll take a couple of minutes to set up but, if you do that, I doubt you'll go back to the stock gallery app.
