Help Gameboid won't work

I rooted my defy and installed CyanogenMod 7.1 and everytime i run Gameboid and tiger gba and open a Rom it just sits at a black screen, after a minute or two it force quits and iv'e tried to uninstall and re-install but does nothing Does anyone know how to fix
I'm fair sure it has nothing to do with the bios or roms as i used them the same day then install the 'custom rom'
