I rooted my phone last week with liquid froyo 1.6, and an 1100 Kernel from slayher. Everything is good, for the most part. My phone is very laggy now when playing nes, snes or genisis emeulated games. For instance, when I play a baseball game, you have to press 'A' to sing the bat, well timing is obviously everything and it is so laggy that the batter misses the pitch and swings after the ball is in the catcher's glove, again, just an example.

I have my phone set on 1,000 MHZ and it's still laggy with the game, anyone know why it was perfect stock, but now rooted with a 'faster' kernel and rom it lags?

I have snes & nes and haven't noticed any lag.
I also uninstalled snes and reinstalled it after root. I didn't get NES until I was already rooted.

    try uninstall..

    running setCPU on interactive 300/1100..
