Help Gear Vr is hijacking my phone

I have a Samsung Note 5, SM920T is the model number. I updated to Nougat when it cam out and all was fine. Until I received the Samsung Gear Vr with controller and my life has been a crazy ever since. I've been told some pretty while things from support including it's my battery, it's my build. (I had it re-flashed by Samsung at Best Buy) Told to reset my phone. Which I did and before even adding any apps it was still happening again. Now they want me to get a new phone. NO! my phone is in pristine condition, from the box to an otterbox, no water damage no nothing. This I know has to do with the Gear VR built into the Nougat build and causing a conflict. I just don't know how to fix it and from what I've searched no one has found a cure.

What's happening is that during regular operation (non gear related) it's gives me a gear vr tone, then blacks the phone with an X in the corner. Then I get a message box with "Unable to use Gear VR. Check mobile device properly inserted in Gear VR." When I get this message my phone is not in the gear vr. Sometimes I get the black screen Oculus start up. This can happen once an hour to 20 times an hour. It wakes my phone up that sometimes it does not even charge. Then there is the charging. It also stops the charging sometimes. I've bought a new Samsung cord and block because they thought that was it. My phone can be at 90 percent and off the cord and out of no where it will make noise like I've plugged it in (phantom charge...lol) and I will see several circle burst around the home button like I'm charging it and it's not on the cord or low battery.

Please help. I really like my phone and was holding till the Note 8 comes out.
I will include some pictures and a link to a video that shows someone else going through the same problem. So far Samsung is not acknowledging it at all.

This is a video that show's similar problem very close to mines.
I've also listed my phone details and other screen shots of the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Same issue here. It fluctuates between being nonexistent and being invasive to the point where my phone is no longer functional. Deleting and disabling the vr app/service gives no results. I'm afraid that this won't be resolved due to the age of the phone but I'll update with any improvements.
