I do know this? Although I know it would never happen? And if it did? I'm sure I would be pushed out of the company? But if I was on the board of directors for Samsung? I would push for all unlocked phones? Because I would know that it wouldn't cost samsung any money? They wouldn't loose any money from providing all unlocked phones? Nor would Google loose any money? But now when it comes to a person on a device plan with their carrier? Then that person don't actually own that phone? Then yes they should be restricted from modifying that phone in certain ways? Because if they stop making payments on their phone plan? Then the carrier has the right to take the phone back if they actually wanted too? And if that phone isn't factory original? Then that would be not right? But when a person buys a car? And if they own the car (not making finance payments?) Then they can do whatever they want to that car? Providing it don't take away from it being street legal? And even then they can modify it into a race car to only race it on a race track. But not drive it on the street. It's their car.
