Help generic network failure - unable to send mms wildfire

Hi I recently got an HTC Wildfire but am unable to send / receive picture messages Having searched the internet in order to find an answer it seems to be a fairly common problem. But I'm with 3 mobile and can't find anything relating to them regarding apn settings (which I think may be the key?). Can anyone help PLEASE?

Hi, how did you resolve this one? I'm having a very similar problem, and although the question seems to be getting asked all over the internet, noone seems to be able to come up with a definitive answer :S

I've already tried re-inputting the APN details, but still doesn't work

Do I need to ask my provider for the settings???

My phone keeps converting SMS to MMS as soon as you enter an email address in the "To" section and HTC advised that all phones do that, just some hide it.

My question is, why can they still send and I get a generic network failure notification?

Nobody seems to have an answer.
