Geniatech Enjoy TV aps could run on Acer tables??

Hi there, I have a Geniatech Enjoy TV box running Android 2.3. I have to develop an application using a USB cummunication (CDC) at the apk. level. As far as I know only android 3.1 and later has support for USB for apps. So Geniathech is working now to release a new Enjoy TV box running on Android 4 which will take few months. In the mean time I would like to continue developing my app. Is this possible to use Acer Table running on Android 3.2 which would has support for for USB support at the app. level. There is any one that has any idea if there is any limitation or any problem of compatibility with Acer Tablets.....before I commit and by an Acer tablet??? thanks
