    In the client Andriod mobile geolocation service is not working.

    The mobile devices are
    HTC Droid Eris
    droid X2 by Motorola

    The two have following
    Operating device: Android
    Carrier: Verizon Wireless

    I have created a mobile website where a page collects the current latitude and longitude. The javascript code for this is :-
    if (navigator.geolocation) {
    browserSupportFlag = true;

    navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition(function(position) {
    initialLocation = new google.maps.LatLng(position.coords.latitude, position.coords.longitude);
    //SetLatitude_Longitude(position.coords.latitude, position.coords.longitude)
    //map.setCenter(initialLocation);
    },
    function() {
    handleNoGeolocation(browserSupportFlag);
    }
    ,
    { enableHighAccuracy: true }
    );
    // Try Google Gears Geolocation
    }

    But position.coords.latitude does not not reply as expected.

    It is working fine to iphone and Andriod 2.1

    Thanks& regards
    Malay
