get rid of fb notifications sound

[Android Question]

i have a htc one vx with AT&T and my phone sends audible notifications everytime someone posts a reply on facebook to something i have commented on. I would like to take the sound off for any facebook actions. The only notification sounds i need are for texts and incoming phone calls. thank you

you need to go into the facebook app and change the settings in there you'll find "app settings" near the bottom of the menu on the left hand side of the app.
