Is there a way to get rid of the gmail app? I'm sure it's been mentioned that it's stupid to have two mail applications on the device, sending double notifications all the time. So:

1)Can i just deleter the gmail APP?
2)Can i stop it from sending notifications so i only get one set from the default email app?
3)Should I use launcher pro and hide it?
4)If I do use launcher pro, will it still send me notifications?

    1) You need a gmail account on the phone for most apps to work. It's a google phone, you need google mail.
    2) Yes, go to settings and uncheck email notifications.
    3) That's your choice. So if you dont want to see it, go ahead.
    4) It shouldn't if you did #1 above.

    THANK ME if i helped:)
