So I ran Speed test on my bionic and it says 1.5mbps. Is that correct? Thought I should get more. My brother iphone does like 4-5mbps while testing right next to me.

4-5mbps sounds like he's connected through WIFI. Those are more like 4G speeds. I'd be pretty happy with 1.5mbps on 3g, best I've ever seen is 1.2 down / 1.1 up.

1.5mbps seems just about right for 3G. You can possibly get 3.0mbps but that's under good conditions. What network is your brother's iphone on? I know that ATT's network is setup for HSPA+ which is what TMobile claims as their 4G which is more like 3.5G. On 4G when I am in an area that has it I can get speeds over 10mbps.

I get about 1.8Mbps on 3g. Luckily I'm in a 4g area so I can get 12Mbps when I need it, but I usually stick to 3g and WiFi for battery savings.

Just ran a speed test, chose a server 9.04 km away. On 3G I got 1.34mbps down. 4G I got 7.28mbps down. I just got rid of an iPhone 4, it would only do about 2mps down max with 3G on a good day, it would normally be around 1.2mbps down.

You will not see stellar speeds with 3g but if you get into LTE areas you should see up to 40G. Nice

anywhere between 4-9 up, around 8 down.

I know I've seen as high as 12-something up.

    Just now I'm getting 5.06/8.37
