Whenever I send a text out of my s3 it gives me a little notice that says ' duplicated recipient' .

My first guess would be that the same recipient is in the TO: field multiple times. You may want to check that first.
Are you using the stock sms app or have you downloaded another?
You can try to provide a little more and we can try to help you further.
Some carriers/providers that are upgrading or adding towers, etc, will cause that error to appear in users' sms upon sending. They'll also cause more than one message to go out on occasion.
You can test this by going to another location at least 10 miles from where you've seen the error.. send out a message and see if the error occurs there as well. If so, then perhaps a reboot will help, or a removal of the SIM card after powering down, then putting it back in and powering up.
