Help Getting error as I try to download update...

Hey there, when I try installing the update, I'm greeted with an error midway through, and it resets

I tried installing it on wifi, and plugged into a charger, and still nothing.

I should note that the phone is rooted, though.

Without knowing the nature of the error you are experiencing or the exact update you are getting, I reckon your root is the 'root' of the problem, if you pardon the pun.

Generally speaking an update will assume that a device is stock and if the device isn't stock then it will return an error. I'm not saying that is the case here but using the info you provided that is my best guess.

I think Scootmien has hit the nail on the head regarding your issue.

Instead of trying to take the stock update, give it a little time and the developers will most likely have incorporated it into a rooted version of the rom or a mod or patch to apply to the rom you are already on!
