So i dropped my phone and broke the screen underlying the glass. Over the course of the next few hours the screen turned black. I would like to get some of the pictures off of the phone I took but i don't know how to do that. The phone still turns on you just can't see anything and when i try to connect it to the computer it sees the E and F drives but won't allow me to access them. Anyone got any ideas?

Unfortunately the phone is probably not mounted as a disk drive, and you have to select this from the taskbar when you plug in the phone (if you don't have it as a default setting). So I would suggest after you plug it in that you swipe down from the top, click the middle where "Disk Drive" should be on the menu, click the bottom for "done" and hope that the screen is actually still functioning without you being able to see.

Edit: if the files are on your SD card it's much easier, you can get a $10 SD to USB reader and stick it in your computer.
