I was interested in purchasing an unlocked HTC Hero but I wasn't sure how to configure it to the tmobile usa network. In the video posted by Rob Jackson here HTC Hero On T-Mobile USA: SIM Card Switcheroo | Android Phone Fans it shows him going into mobile network settings and configuring some things. If i were to get a hero would i have to do the same to get the phone working? If so how would i get that information. Thanks alot!

No worries....I was looking around like crazy and somebody told me...so I gotta return the favor and pass it along to others. I got mine over a week ago.....love it!! I'm in ATT in the US.

nice.. but arent you worry about the 3G connection being lack of with this phone? I have at&t also and really want to get this phone now, but the 3G connections bug the hell out of me :(

I'm not worried about the lack of 3G. I have the 3G iphone and to be honest with you, it's not too much faster. Just a tad bit, and I can live with it. Plus the Hero doesn't lag and crash out as much as the iphone does, so I can live with it. Plus think about it, ATT's 3G network is crap.....how often do you really think you're on 3G???

Mine's working like a charm.

i had checked around and found that they had a good price for the phone. i live in california and they ship from new york so there is no tax for me. i also checked google product search and sorted by seller rating and the reviews were really solid so you could trust them. heres the link to both
