I searched the threads and have found nothing about gif images not being antimated. None of my gif images seem to work, they look like jpg. I have received and downloaded gif files, none have any movement. If I send them ,they work for the person I send them to. What settings do I have to set up. I noticed this error my first day and have been searching for an answer. I hope it is nothing tto do we the lack of flash. My old LG played these sms but not the Droid. Thanks for any advice.
The DROID doesn't support GIFs at this time. Someone suggested that when the 10.1 Flash update gets to us, then perhaps GIFs will be supported. But I don't see the link between the two of them.
That's because there isn't one. I think that was the thread about animated fonts in those annoying emails people's aunts send out. Someone was just confused.
If you mean like animated messages you might from a friend, (Granny kicking baby, Santa mooning you, etc), Handcent will play these for you. Animated.
Yea, but why? I like that I don't get them. It's the same reason I run ad blocking and flash blocking software on my computers. I hate ads, and commercials. That was one of the nice things about living in Alaska, billboards are illegal. I move down here and you can't see the scenery because of all the damn billboards.
