    So much want.

When the Gingerbread kernel came out on my Evo, the battery life went through the roof with sense based roms. So I can't wait for it to come out on this phone.

The opposite happened on the DX so I will wait to see how it performs before I go through the trouble to install. Although the install should be easier on the Charge. You had to run some circles to install rooted GB on the DX since the bootloader was locked. I went back to froyo on my DX before I got the charge because it offered better battery life and the performace (even in light of lower quadrant scores) did not seem any different to me running a custom rom.
