I have Gingerbread on my DX (.595). I love it for the most part, really like the improved dialer, improved camera, arrow selector for cursor location, etc.

But one thing I'm confused about is how it handles contacts. In previous versions, I could link contacts from Google Contacts, Facebook, etc so I wouldn't have multiple listings for the same person in my contacts. But I can't figure out how to do that in Gingerbread. Any thoughts or advice? I's appreciate any assistance so much.

it is done the same way it was done in Froyo.

    longpress a contact, edit
menu button, join, select contact to join.

that is not the same as it was in Froyo.

In Froyo you didn't have to hit "edit"
