Give me your list of your 5 most useful apps. I do not care if they are free or paid. No games. Just apps you could not live without on your Android phone.

And for the non-rooted phones out there:

    Lookout Mobile Security
    HDR Camera +
    Juice Defender
    Screen Adjuster
    Swiftkey X

Google Wallet runs a tight 6th place :)

    Hmm..

    +1 to Titanium Backup and
    +1 to ROM Manager
    Gentle Alarm
    Agenda Widget
    Nova Launcher

I'm bypassing mention of any Google Apps that come preinstalled, or they would practically take over the list.

Of course, there are the standard stock ones like Maps, Navigation, Browser, but as for downloadable ones:

    1) aCar - tracks gas mileage and service history for your vehicles, reminds you when maintenance services are needed.

    2) Screebl - monitors the angle of the phone and keeps the screen on if it is within a certain range. This way, the screen doesn't turn off if you're in the middle of reading an article, analyzing a picture, etc.

    3) Chrome to Phone - instantly send web pages, map directions, etc. from chrome browser to your phone. Great if you need to take a recipe with you to the kitchen, looked up direction on your computer, want to read an article but need to leave, etc. - note, you will also need to install the Chrome extension.

    4) JEFIT - workout log (mostly for lifting). This lets you select your exercises, input the weights used, number of reps, and monitor your statistics (weight, body fat, etc)

    5) GPS Status - gives lots of information on the GPS radio and compass and is incredibly useful when you're having a hard time locking on to GPS. You can clear cached GPS data, redownload AGPS data, and calibrate the compass. Doing one or all of these will usually resolve any GPS issues that you are having.

    my top 5:

    • Nova Launcher: made from ICS for ICS, it's what the stock launcher should have been.
    • Volume+: finally makes the external speaker useful!
    • Lightflow: lets you customize LED colors and flash speed for each notification type.
    • Tiny Flashlight: lets you activate the rear LED from the lock screen by shaking the device.
    • Titanium Backup: save/restore app data! are you listening google?

Mine with the GNex... And I am not including the stock stuff like Gmail, Google Music, or maps...

Lightflow (makes the LED very useful)
PocketCast (Got it for free on Amazon and it is a good app)
NFC Task Launcher (NFC triggered tasks from Tasker? Awesome.)
Tasker (Makes you into a power user with a gui for scripts and rules)
AirDroid (I hate plugging in USB cables)

Can you tell me what you use NFC task launcher for? It sounds cool, but outside of a dock situation I can't think of a good use for this.
