Help Glare when taking videos

When I use the camcorder, wether its day or night, I get a glare on any light source in the background. I used it mostly at night so I thought it was normal.
But I was making a video during the day, indoor, and I was getting a glare from a window. Is there an adjustment I'm missing? Thanks!

try adjusting your white balance and metering mode and flicker adjustment settings

when i adjusted the white balance, the light source became ok, but everything surrounding it became too dark. is there any other adjustment i can make?

I suggested three settings above that I know will make a difference. you will need to find the right combination for your specific situation at that time.

also look at your case (if any) is being used. I actually found that my clear case was reflecting light towards the lens (front cam and back) and was causing issues
