Help Gmail App Problems

When I try to access my Gmail App, I get the following message:

The application Gmail Storage (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force close

I cannot access my gmail account.

Please advise.

I would say uninstall then re install. Hope this helps, let me know.

I'd go into (from home) settings->applications->manage applications. Wait for the list to refresh. Find "GMail Storage", tap it. Tap on the "clear data" button.

Hopefully that will solve the problem. It should refresh the data on the next background sync. You may have to reset settings, notifications, etc. - I can never remember if you need to or not.
