GMAIL blows

I only get my emails if I refresh the screen. Sometimes that doesnt work. What am I doing wrong? Are there any App out there that are better for Gmail? Thanks

that doesn't sound right it should be pretty instant. Do you have your data synce enabled?

Gmail rocks. I get notified of a new email faster than the webpage does.

Check Settings > Accounts & sync. Make sure it's ON and auto-sync is on.

OK i turned my Wifi on and it seems to be better. Doesnt that KILL the battery though?

I heard if you Refresh it from Gmail, it works.

I unplugged my battery and refreshed Gmail and mine's ok now. Try that.

No. I've been told that 3G uses more battery than Wifi. Turning on Wifi disables 3G, so you'll save some battery that way.
