Just wondering if anyone else has been dealing with their gmail app crashing? There is a thread over on XDA about this, but all it is so far is people talking about it happening to them with no real fix. One solution seems to be to clear data, but the bug comes right back up.

Anyone here use the new auto root 3.0 on a 1.1 NC and NOT having gmail problems? Or if they had crashing problems figured a solution out?

theres a whole host of issues people seem to be having with autonooter3.0 for 1.1. keep in mind the guy who 'wrote' autonooter3 hijacked the name from Gabrial who wrote the original, fully functional original.

The best thing to do is to root on 1.0.1, then flash the pre-rooted 1.1.

it'll take a bit of time but IMHO its worth it.

that is what I was going to do until reading this: xda-developers - View Single Post - [Q] Gmail crashes when refreshing

it seems as if it is not just the autonooter 3 that is having the problems as well.

I don't use gmail, although I have a gmail account (obviously). I was messing around with it last night and it rebooted the entire NC. Teh app didn't crash, it crashed and rebooted on its own. weird.

Glad i don't use gmail for now. although I might. i've been using yahoo mail for ages, and don't feel like changing addresses
