Gmail Issue

Here is the situation I'm having. I use my personal Gmail account for everything none work related. I had my work account forward everything to my Gmail account so it is easy to read on my work computer. I can use a different signature for my work emails and everything is cool, also I don't clog up the work server with emails. The problem is on my Galaxy S2, I can't access my different signatures. Anybody know of a decent fix for this?

When I want to send an email from my phone, I want to be able to choose my work account and send it with my work signature (title, phone number etc..).

??? There should be a dropdown box near the top allowing you to choose which account to send from. Whether or not that'll include your sig is another story.

That is the problem. I can select which account to send from, but it only uses my mobile signature. I want to be able to switch between the signatures I use for different accounts.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You should be able to change the signature for each account in settings. Gmail app >>> menu >>> more >>> settings >>> select account >>> signature.
I am using 2 Gmail accounts so can change the signature for each this way.

That's the thing. My work account is not a Gmail account. It is an email provided by our internet provider. The server forwards everything to my Gmail account, because I find the interface and options better than using Outlook.

Well, the only workaround that occurs to me is if you want to create a second gmail account, dedicated to pulling in your work email. It'll sync with the app, so at least on the go you'll be able to choose which one you want; your personal account will remain just that, and your work account (with its own sig) will get fed into the other account, and both can be managed within both the app and Chrome, as I believe you can still have more than one account logged in concurrently. Aside from that, I'm out if ideas.

That's what I setup on the weekend. It's a little messy. Need to set filters and everything, but I can use different signatures. I was hoping for there to be an easier way.

Thanks for your help/ideas
