I am trying to set how often my phone syncs with Gmail. I tried opening Gmail and looked in settings there. I also tried Accounts & Sync settings but i can't seem to find where the frequency is set.

I am trying to extend battery life by increasing this time. Where do I find this?

    Thanks to all in advance.

There are no sync settings for the GMail app. GMail is always pushed to your phone. Push email uses WAY less battery than pull email, as the phone doesn't have to keep checking to see if there is new mail, the server automatically sends it to the phone.

If you really want to use pull email with your gmail account, you can use the Mail app instead of the Gmail app. However, even setting your pull to happen every 30 mins or even every hour, you will be using more battery than push email.
