going nuts

i sure router is ok as other devices are no problem, but will cut out on modbro

Suggest you do reboot your router, just to be sure it's not a localised connection problem to the box. What about other video sites, like say YouTube or Vimeo? FWIW I use Mobdro no problems in China, usually to watch BBC.

Well whenever there's an odd problem that isn't making sense you should always start diagnosing things by restarting everything involved, and that includes the router. It's completely irrelevant that no other devices connected to it are working fine, there could be networking-related issue that's just between that TX95 Plus unit and your router. Restarting the router would at least minimize that issue as a possibility. (Your home LAN involves a lot of constant exchanges of traffic between your router and anything linked to it, even when you're not actively doing anything involving any of them.) If that same problem is still occurring after restarting your router and your TX95, at least now you know that it's something to look into and not just a one-off glitch.
That TX95 includes an Ethernet port doesn't it? Are you using WiFi or a cable to connect to your router? If a cable, have you tried a different cable? If WiFi, is it on a 2.4Ghz or a 5Ghz band connection and have you already tried switching from one to the other? Also involving WiFi, could range be a factor? Approximately how far away is the T95 from the router?
