Root goldcard and SDcards

Hey i'm just working through the gold card method on my Telus hero now. unfortunatly the card that came with the phone didnt work. and the lexar class-6 8 gig card i bought also doesnt work.

anyone have a list of the SD card brands that do work? any input would be greatly appreciated

i used a kingston 2gig i bought this just for the job because a guy who wrote the tutorial i was following also said he used kingston......worked first time.
