    That's a pretty subjective question in the sense that different things are important to different people.

    I used to be with Verizon (excellent network coverage, etc.), but their cost and the fact that they pretty-much only sell devices with locked bootloaders made me leave.

    I'm with T-Mobile nowadays and am VERY happy with them.

    What are your criteria for "best"?

    Verizon has the best coverage/signal where live but hate their data plan prices. My solution was to use Straight Talk with a Verizon compatible sim. I use Verizon towers/ network at a cheaper prepaid price.
