    Hello,
I have recently come accross from the darkside of winmobile to Android, I only wish i had done it a lot earlier :)

Anyway I recently decided to change my google account password, which of course was easy enough to do via the PC.
But when I tried to sync with my HTC Desire I could not find anyway of changing the password on the phone.

All I got was the Captiva security question over and over and over, I tried everything I read on the internet and none of it worked!

So I eventualy raised the question with HTC whos's final solution was to to do a hard reset and re-enter the account and also advised that I post about the problem on these forums.

So is it possible to change the password on the phone ?

If it is not possible could the developers consider putting some sort of account management on the next update to allow the changing of password on the phone?

    Thanks for reading :)

to the mods, sorry if this is in the wrong forum or it has already beeen asked eksewhere, I couldn't find it.

Change your password online, either using the browser on your phone or on your computer.

Then, have your phone try to sync (i.e. open Gmail app).

It should give you a sync error and ask you to re-enter the new password.

No it doesn't work, it just cycles the captcha dialogue box and never asks for new password .....
