Help Google assistant mutes my car radio (as you'd expect) but it never comes back!

Hi all, I accidentally activated google assistant today by squeezing my phone when putting it into a phone holder in my car. As a result the noise came over my bluetooth and muted the radio. Not an issue I thought, I'll just wait and it will return. It didnt't. I then thought I'm best to kill all apps, so I did, but it didnt come back. I then had to drive in silence for 15 mins until I got home!

Anyone have any idea why this bluetooth connection is seemingly staying connected to my car and what to do about it?

yep! Still, the silence remains

hmm. I would say yes but that would be lazy. I'll do some detailed tests to report back. I'm not sure it happens every single time to be honest.
