Hi everyone...
I just got the updated Google app, which is supposed to enable Google Assistant on all phones running Marshmallow and Nougat. Here is the info from Google's own blog...

https://blog.google/products/assistant/meet-your-googleassistant/

According to this blog, "To get started, touch and hold the Home button"

But... if I do that, it just opens up Google Now On Tap (like it always has).

Has anyone gotten it working on a stock S6?

Thanks...

The update is a server side switch, which means that Google has to turn on a "switch" that will enable Assistant on your phone, I know the wait sucks, but you'll get it eventually.
