I have the Google search bar on my home screen. It opens the stock browser which soon displays the message "Windows limit reached".

I have downloaded Chrome and would like the Google bar to default to Chrome.

    How can I achieve this?

Select search bar, menu, settings, phone search, untick stock browser nad select chrome instead

    See if that works

When I long press on Google search bar I only get "Resize" or "Delete" .

Where do I get the menu from?

When you select the search bar it opens up, then press the menu button and select settings

Open Search Bar > Menu > Settings > Searchable Items tick "Chrome"

    Looks like the above works.

    Thanks
