I have a couple questions about the eBooks through Google Books.

    1) Will the books update when a revised edition is released and replaces the previous edition?

    2) What format are the books in and can I transfer them onto another platform?

    1) I am not sure, but I would think you wouldn't get a new version for free.

    2) You can export most books to read on your Nook or Sony eReader. More info here:

Google sells eBooks in ePub format and other eBooks in PDF format.

    Aldiko reader reads both formats.
But DRM is an other question.

EDIT: But Google will have its own eBook reader app for its books :)

    Thanks for the responses.

Harry - What format are the books being sold through the Google bookstore in? I have purchased several already and am wondering if I can transfer them.

Sorry, I haven't first hand experience, I live in Europe :) so no Google books available.
As I know, format is ePub (for phones and readers) and PDF (recommended for PC use).

Aldiko reader can import eBooks at the SD card.
    So you could try.

EDIT: If you live in USA why don't you try that Google eBook reader app?
