Hi, this is addressed to whoever from Google might be reading this (I hope this isn't a total waste of time!)

Two areas where the Droid map and navigation application need to be fixed:

    1. Sometimes map placement for an address is incorrect, and badly so. In cases like this, there should be a way to move the map point to indicate the actual location of the address. This is already possible when using the Web Google Nav app (although it isn't possible in the Maps app, which is kinda weird.) The corrected location might be stored as a Lat/Lon location with the address in Droid Contacts.
    2. I can modify a route in Google Navigation app, but I can't in the Droid navigation app. I have modified a route in the Web Nav app, and then emailed it to myself to try and get it into a navigation session. Instead, when you open the link to the corrected route on the Droid, it reverts to the route you had before modifying. It should be able to do one of the following:
      • Be able to modify the route in the Droid
      • Be able to import the modified route from Google maps.
      • OR, YOU COULD LIST THE DROID AS ONE OF THE SUPPORTED GPS's IN THE GOOGLE APP "Send" FUNCTION.
This is more than a suggestion, not being able to modify a Droid route is a pain-in-the-butt. Sometimes there are bad neighborhoods and road construction that must be avoided, but I still want to use turn-by-turn navigation.

For your #1, try the app "My Maps Editor" by Google. It lets you store your favorite locations and edit addresses as well.
