    Google Buzz Won't Work on the Galaxy... because it only works on 2.0 and
    above and Galaxy is 1.5.

    The list of Android applications that won't work on Galaxy is growing and
    with it my dissatisfaction.

    Google Goggles was cool but not something you'd use often, however,
    Buzz sounds like a useful thing.

    To be fair, Google is also guilty of cooking new Android versions with no roadmap and implementing new features that are not supported by 6-month old OS. Even HTC has not yet updated Hero to 2.1, although they intend to. It is hard for phone manufacturers to keep up, because unlike unofficial firmware builders they indeed have to go through various internal bureaucratic processes, test fw with carriers, etc.

    Actually, Buzz is accessible through Google Talk, so if you only need the chat-function it's there already :)

    Should now work if you access http:\\buzz.google.com. But it does give a warning.

    Works indeed. In order to avoid the warning make a bookmark
    Code (Text):
    1. https://m.google.com/app/buzz?force=1
    force=1 skips the warning.

    But remember, you've been warned! )

    Indeed, I am finding myself more and more amused by this fiasco. After weeks of careful research and deliberation, dismissing the Hero, Magic and all the rest and deciding that the Galaxy was the best Android handset "feature for feature" I've now been left with what is slowly but assuredly turning out to the the most hobbled and useless Android handset out there. Even the G1 has more support. It's a laughing/crying shame, Samsung has used us as guinea pigs and they along with all the carriers who have supported them in this should be force fed donuts & eclairs until they burst!
