    Hi Guys,

Got a new kindle fire hd and rooted using the excellent guide on this forum- all went very smoothly!

Sideloaded Google chrome but every time I restart the Kindle, when I start up chrome I get the error

"Critical functionality required to run Chrome is missing. Either your Chrome installation is incomplete or not compatible with this version of Android."

I can delete chrome and reinstall and everything works perfectly but is there a way to fix this error so that this isnt necessary after a restart?

    Thanks,

    Chris

I had problems with a few programs after I restarted. Unfortunately I had to uninstall, then reinstall them

Cheers, that's the thing- a reinstall makes it work perfectly but only until I restart and then it breaks again! Really strange and I can't find any solutions with a google search

Anyone any ideas? Doing my head in! I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find anyone with the same issues!
