I am looking for a way to have a spreadsheet that is a time sheet. I need it for work and it needs to be able to export to PDF.

    Does this exist?

Google docs allows you to download as PDF...

I read that as I can download PDF into the document, not save as/export to PDF...

No, you can download as a PDF. Not upload into the document.

Ok, you can do all of that with google docs. Create a new spreadsheet, create your formulas to calculate hours, save as PDF.

Powered by Google docs lets you export a Google spreadsheet to Excel, Open Office, or PDF.

I use a Google Docs spreadsheet for Gas Mileage. For me, the best feature is that Google Spreadsheets has a form feature which I setup with lots of drop-down multiple-choice selections, as well as a few open text box fields. So, using my mobile phones browser which I have the spreadsheets form web page bookmarked, I go to this spread-sheet's form web page and select & input data in the form fields which when I submit the form, it puts the data into the spreadsheet. To me, viewing the Google Docs spreadsheet form on the mobile browser is much easier to view on the mobile phone than a spreadsheet was. And, I have the form fields setup as 'required fields' so that it won't allow me to submit data unless I have all of the fields populated with data. Also, the form puts a timestamp of when I submitted the data in the first column of the spreadsheet as well.

Then when I go to the Google Spreadsheet on my desktop, I can populate the remaining fields with the formulas that performs all the calculations from the data fields which I inputted via the form.

All Powered by Google Docs which is FREE!

where are you all editing the spreadsheet from? the Droid? I have Docs2Go because i couldn't seem to get google docs on my phone in anything other then a view format, not editable. the mobile site only allows me to see my docs, and when i choose the desktop site i get an error that my browser doesn't support web processing.

OP if you are trying to edit the spreadsheet from the Droid, i think you will have the same issue without using DaWeav's solution.

I'm going to have to check out making a form, this could be useful. But still doesn't help for making a document on the fly.

When I go into Google docs mobile on my Sprint Hero and open a spreadsheet....there is an edit link to the left of each row to make that row editable.
