Root Google Earth apps2sd issue

So I happily rooted my Desire a while ago (thanks Dan) and had all my apps move to sd and things were all rosy!

Last week, I wanted to use Google Earth and an error occurred that led me to reinstall the app.

To my surprise, my memory went from 124 to 107!!

Does anyone know how this could happen and if there is a fix?

Someone also mentioned issues on Gingerbread with Google earth and Apps2sd+

Unfortunately, its just the way it is.

I dont see what Earth does that maps doesnt that I would need, so never bothered myself. Installed it ages ago and uninstalled it within a few minutes
